April 8, 2011 - Dublin - Last night, John Fitzpatrick, President and CEO of Fitzpatrick Hotel Group North America, celebrated the 40th anniversary of his family's business in Ireland and the 20th anniversary of his company operating in New York with a well attended reception at the luxurious Residence Member's Club on Stephen's Green. Many celebrities and travel industry leaders were on hand, but the highlight of the event was the fact that newly elected Irish Taoiseach Enda Kenny opted to attend, and honored the Fitzpatrick family with a well received speech recognizing their contributions to the hospitality industry for over 40 years in both Ireland and the United States.
As an added feature to the event, Fitzpatrick Hotels and their strategic partner United Airlines, teamed up to put together a prize drawing for one lucky event attendee, who won a four day stay in New York at the Fitzpatrick Manhattan Hotel, with airfare for two provided by United Airlines. The lucky winner was Tara Flanagan of Sunway Holiday, who was awarded her prize by Yvonne Muldoon on behalf of United.
