Restaurant Server
The Fitzpatrick Grand Central is currently seeking candidates for a restaurant server position who have experience in the restaurant industry, enjoy working with people, and like to deliver exceptional service to all guests. The successful candidate will have 2 years prior serving experience, loads of enthusiasm, and a very flexible schedule.
Sales Manager
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Sales Manager solicits and manages international group and wholesale clients from key feeder markets, as well as domestic corporate business. This role is responsible for achieving revenue goals in rooms as well as meetings/events. The Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new business for The Fitzpatrick Manhattan Hotel and The Fitzpatrick Grand Central Hotel from all market segments. The Fitzpatrick Hotel Group is looking for a self starter that will succeed in this role.
* Experience in selling to an international feeder market and to the corporate and tour and travel segments
* At least 2 years prior experience selling upscale hotels in New York City
* Experience in independent / boutique hotels is preferred
* Ability to research, solicit and develop corporate transient and group accounts as well as leisure business
* Thorough knowledge of the corporate travel associations and key players
* Understanding of hospitality marketing technology
* Four year college degree is preferred
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
