Located off the Wheeltapper Pub, the Patio offers a truly special option for your ceremony or social functions of up to 90 people. Our 2,200 square foot outdoor space is protected by a fully retractable awning and is equipped with gas heaters, so it can be enjoyed in all but the worst weather. The Patio is a more casual space that, in addition to hosting your ceremony, can offer some unique celebration options, from a formal reception to a casual barbecue, as well as wedding rehearsal dinners or a “day after” brunch.

An elegant option on the ground floor of New York’s very first Irish-owned hotel, the Fitz can accommodate up 50 people for your ceremony, and is also a great option for anything from a formal dinner, to a cocktail reception as well as rehearsal dinners or a “day after” brunch.

Our most luxurious and exclusive venue, The Penthouse, located on the top floor of the hotel, offers a unique and elegant option for a more intimate wedding. Able to accommodate 25 guests indoors for your ceremony, the Penthouse also features a large terrace deck that allows you to move your ceremony outdoors in the middle of the New York City skyline, weather permitting.

In each case, we can craft a memorable event to fit your desires and specifications, while remaining flexible on budget. If you were to book your wedding reception with us in either the Wheeltapper or the Fitz Bar, you would be welcome to hold the ceremony in your venue at no extra charge.

Couples looking to marry in New York must secure a license to do so from the State of New York at least 24 full hours before the ceremony is held. The fee is $35, payable by money order or credit card. Divorce and death decrees may be required if applicable. Both parties must provide proper identification (e.g. license or passport) and fill out a marriage license application, which is now possible to do online. The ceremony must take place in New York State for the license to be valid.
